Who do you confide in?

When all hell break loose, when you are deeply stressed and troubled how do you deal with it?

Do you just complain and murmur to anyone that comes accross your way? Or you speak out for the sake of getting help?

Lets explore 2 kings 4:1-37 together…
You can see, the widow woman in this chapter was in great distress and guess what? She went to the right confidant to seek for help…and the right confidant there was Elisha, a man of God…and at the end her burden was uplifted from her and she was given rest.

Be wise beloved!
Test all spirit before opening your mouth…

The second part of 2kings 4 was the Shunamite woman…this time, this lady lost her only son! That alone was enough to make one run mad…but what did she do? She remained calm, she knew it was not over yet until God says it is over… and all what you could hear from her lips was “it is well”
WHAT A GREAT LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE!!!

she knew the God she serve and His prophet…as a result of this, she didnt go about ranting, nor crying out so loud in order to attract people’s attention and pity…instead she went straight to the man of God with boldness, knowing that this heavy yoke and burden will be uplifted from her and her rest will be restored!!! And guess what? her need was met…and her son was brought back to life because she went to the right person and tapped into the right source!

My next question is who is your source? And who do you surround yourself with?

It is written,
Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

So beloved let God be your source today and I assure you that He is more than able to take away every form of burden you are suffering from!
He promised in Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Believe me, He never goes back on his words! 🙂

God has also placed certain people in your life for a purpose…He has ordained confidants in your life to strengthen and uplift you at your time of need, so make good use of them. Dont die in silence! Remember a closed mouth is a closed destiny so be wise! 😉

Search closely and seek God to show you who your confidants should be and He will show you.

In conclusion, when you are distressed and troubled seek God and He will help you. If you need someone to talk to, dont just go around and talk to anyone that appears interested in your case, instead ask God to direct you to the right confidant and on your way pray this “Lord Jesus as Im about to go talk to this person, please I need you to speak through him or her, let every counsel from this person be from you in Jesus name…!!! And trust me again, He will definitely grant you your request 🙂
